The jury of the 14th International Henryk Wieniawski Violin Making Competition in Poznań, composed of:

decided to award and divide the statutory prizes as follows:

1st prize: 16,000 euro and Gold Medal of the Henryk Wieniawski Musical Society of Poznań goes to Piotr Pielaszek (Poland) for the DALI instrument

2nd prize: 5,000 euro and Silver Medal of the Henryk Wieniawski Musical Society of Poznań goes to Piotr Pielaszek (Poland) for the SELVA instrument

3rd prize: 3,000 euro and Bronze Medal of the Henryk Wieniawski Musical Society of Poznań goes to Jan Jakub Lipiński (Poland) for the instrument FONS

The winners will also receive honorary diplomas.

Moreover, the Jury of the Competition awarded two special prizes:

The prize of 2,000 euro and Medal of Polish Artist Violin Maker Union for the highest violin-making qualities of the instrument goes to Gonzalo Bayolo (Spain) for the QUERCUS instrument.

A prize of 2,000 euro and Medal of Henryk Wieniawski Musical Society of Poznań for the highest acoustic qualities of the instrument goes to Piotr Pielaszek (Poland), for the DALI instrument.

A non-statutory award for the highest rated student of the Ignacy Jan Paderewski Academy of Music in Poznań goes to Klemens Siatkowski (Poland) for the instrument MARIANNE.
